Maj Jason Ward RM, 34, Capt Philip Guy RM, 29, C/Sgt John Cecil RM, 36, WO2 Mark Stratford RM, and Mne Sholto Hedenskog, 26 died on 21 March, 2003, when a US Sea Knight helicopter they were aboard crashed south of the Kuwait border.
Marine Christopher Maddison, 9 Assault Sqd R.M, died on 30th March 2003 when his river patrol on the Al Faw peninsular, south of Basra, came under rocket fire.
